The New Deal

I lasted about three months with no blogging, and about every three weeks I’d think, “Wow! That would make a great blog post! Oh, right, I don’t do that anymore.”

So I’m bringing it back with new rules:

1) I will make no effort to post frequently. Deal with it.

2) I will make no effort to self-promote myself. If my content belongs on Digg, Reddit or StumbleUpon, I trust someone else will put it there.

3) I will have no ads (some of my not-so-great posts came from the need to rack up a quick 80 visitors so my ads wouldn’t get delisted) (also, they’re a lot of stress in general, and the money they provide is negligible).

4) That said, if you would like me to not lose money by doing a public service, and you feel you have profited from the material I’ve created, I heartily encourage you to donate a few dollars to my hosting account by pressing the button over there. =>
